Bloomex: refuses to issue a refund for misdirecting flower delivery, bad customer relations, failure to follow-up - cut flowers
I have read the other complaints that have been leveled against Bloomex on this website. It appears that the modus operandi of the company is to sidestep any actual conversations with supervisors (never to be found when you phone) and a blatant inability to recognize that their service consists of delivery of perishable goods.
In my particular case, they were a) unable to deliver on the first delivery date (address was "out of their delivery area" even though they have been there in the past), b) failure to confirm delivery on the second delivery date, c) received an email that the flowers were "in transit" one day later, d) delivered to the wrong address e) actual recipient did not receive the flowers until Friday (when they should have been there on Tuesday).
Theses are cut flowers. No light, no water, 4 days. What condition do you think they are in? They keep offering to resend (are you kidding?) or a store credit (really?!?). I demand a full refund and refuse to do business with them again.
I will also be sending this complaint to CBC's Marketplace.
