Feb 15th holds a sentimental place in our family. It is the day my father passed away. This year we would be remembering this as the 15th anniversary of his death. I am painfully aware of the poor timing as it is the day after valentines. This year I wanted to send my mother a bouquet of flowers on this day to just say I'm thinking about you. I went on-line as I live in Ontario and she lives in British Columbia. I have used Bloomex
in the past a never really thought twice. My mother has this amazing habit of taking pictures and sending them to show me what the flowers looked like and to say thank you. I purchased a designer collection of flowers that showed a picture of red roses and pink lilies. I understand that the designer collection is for the florist to be creative it but why show the picture then. Why give people choice or show variations when it in the end the Bloomex florists are just going to do what they want. My mother received a bouquet of daisies and carnations. To be honest it looked like a bouquet i spent $20 on at a grocery store. There is nothing wrong with that as that is the value you get however i was expecting something more significant something i would be happy to have sent my mother. I immediately got in touch with customer service they advised it was the discretion of the florist but they would resend the flowers or put a credit on my account. The credit by the way wouldn't include delivery so i requested them to resend the flowers. It has taken two weeks now to have the flowers resent. My mother received them today which was fitting since she got some very bad news about a friend and their health. I opened the pictures to be irate again as they were no better then the original flowers sent. WTF! are you serious! can't you see i was unhappy with them to begin with! instead of using the live chat service i called in to speak with someone. This only made matters worse. The representatives name is apparently Joey. It was hard to understand him as he was eating and drinking throughout our call. I was only calling to get an understand of what i am misinterpreting. Clearly it has to be me as this is the second round of flowers no better then the first so this has to be me right. I went on-line again there is the picture of red roses and pink lilies and i look at what i my mother got and this time they might have put in a rose or two. Joey was of no use he was unhelpful, ignorant and hard to understand. I requested a manager he said he was the manger. SERIOUSLY how are you the manager. I requested his manager or better yet the owner. He said the owner Sam would be calling me. While on-line the owners name is NOT Sam. I will continue t write bad reviews in regards to this business as there product is horrible the customer service is even worse if that is possible and people are just supposed to except this crap they refer to as a service.
