Botched deliver, absolutely no customer service - Mother's Day gift delivery


My mother and sister-in-law are in the hospital with my very sick nephew for Mother's Day. I ordered a basket of fruit and chocolate through Bloomex and included the hospital address, the department, the room number and my nephew's name as well as my mother's. I also specifically requested that they deliver it on Mother's Day, and not a few days before as they did last year in spite of the fact I had also asked for a Mother's Day delivery. At 9:37 the basket was dumped with someone named "Louis" somewhere in the hospital bearing only the hospital's street address and seven hours later we still have not been able to track it down. I called Bloomex "customer service" to be told by a recording after much "press 1, press 2" that if I had any issues with a Mother's Day order to call them on May 11, the day after Mother's Day. Neither have they responded to my e-mail. That they sent my Mother's Day basket on a random Friday rather than on Mother's Day per my specific instructions I could easily overlook. But that they carelessly dumped it somewhere in a big hospital with no means of tracking it down and no way for it to get to the right place from there, and then completely fail to offer any kind of customer service to fix the problem is a total lack of professionalism. What really pisses me off is this was supposed to cheer up my mother and sister-in-law who are going through a really rough time staying at the hospital around the clock with my very sick nephew, and instead they're running around the hospital trying to find this mislaid basket. The only way Bloomex can fix this now is to send a free second basket to the right place and refund me for the first.
