Not recommended! - Poinsettia Basket


Ordered poinsettia for special person. Got email it was sold out & they substituted food basket. Didn't want to send food for several reasons! Didn't order food! Policy says they substitute w/similar item. Food isn't a plant/flower! After many tries, never got response from #888 or LiveChat. "Call Me" link on website is broken. Sent 3 emails & finally got call next day saying "too late to change, tell recipient to reject delivery to get refund." That's the solution??!! Bloomex couldn't call me to discuss substitution options without involving my recipient? Ridiculously bad service!!!

All in all it was very easy and arrived to the recipient on time, which was great. Notifying me of the change in arrangement was very much appreciated. My friend loved her flowers and I am pleased with the service

It seems that if one doesnt't give up you can get something accomplished . After posting here and replying with my concerns and disappointment about the service Bloomex has seen fit to respond and try to rectify the problem . I am pleased to have finally resolved the issue . Although I must say there is a large gap in the company's ability to preform at the Standards of Excellence that want you to believe . No one should have to go to such extremes to resolve an issue . Thank You to those who finally took the time !

It took 2 weeks for you to respond to the post here .Pretty much the same goes for the responses customer services does on your site if you get one at all ! Although Bloomex did send an email confirming that they would resend the Flowers when the weather cleared up to this date Jan 6th they have done nothing ! Its all rhetoric they think they are to big to really care about you the customer .Their unwillingness to refund or admit fault for their own pathetic mistakes and deceptive practices .Don't get suckered in like many have done me included . Call a local there are plenty of them out there who truly care and will give you better results . The one I found had an 800 number and wasn't even the florist who got the order but took my information and called another florist closer placed the order with them just to help me out . NOW that is Customer Service !!Ever need a good florist in Edmonton look them up Rideau Florist Edmonton

We are terribly sorry that you have not had a pleasant experience with Bloomex. Bloomex takes great pride in our products and services. Due to the extreme cold weather, flowers were freezing instantly, we were not the only florists affected by this- other florist receive their flowers from wholesalers and have them transported in trucks similar to ours. Flowers are very delicate in nature, and can be damaged easily. This is why we substitute for gourmet gift baskets. We send an email advising customers of this prior to shipping our the gift basket. Our substitution policy is stated on our website, and in the email confirmation that you received, we apologize and empathetic that you do not agree with substitutions, but you have the opportunity to cancel your order within 1 hours after placing it if you do not agree with our policies. Bloomex is the worst in customer service if you call customer service they redirect you to the web site to talk to live chat .It is impossible to get to a live person .They didn't deliver my order on the day promised and they had 7 days in advance . To top it all off when checking on my order it said delivered but in fact it wasn't . The next day Bloomex delivered Chocolate and Cookies instead of flowers stating the weather was the reason for the substitution . Funny the local florist was delivering flowers !!! Over all their service and substitution policy stink !! Sending food items instead of flowers ? What if someone had food allergies ?? Never AGAIN Bloomex !!!
